Welcome to St. John Central School!

St. John Central School was inaugurated and blessed in 1956 by Monsignor Ambrose Schilling of Beverly and Father Charles Highland of Churchtown. Since its founding, the school has been steadfast in its mission to foster the total development of each child—spiritually, morally, and academically—within a Christ-centered environment. We believe that parents are the primary educators of their children and essential partners in the educational process. St. John Central recognizes each student as a unique individual with diverse needs and is committed to nurturing their growth in all aspects of life. Our school community—comprising parents, staff, students, and stakeholders—collaborates to model Christian values, pursue academic excellence, and promote a genuine appreciation for cultural diversity. For more than 60 years, St. John Central School has stood as a vital pillar in the community, providing students with a strong foundation in both moral character and academic achievement.

Prayer

Scripture

Almighty God, we give thanks for our school for it is a special place.  Make it special for you Lord, and bring your peace, love, and friendship to everything that we do here.  As we learn and as we play, may we always be in your safe keeping.  We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord.  Amen.

You can make many plans, but the Lord's purpose will prevail.

Proverbs 19:21

God is pleased with you when you do what you know is right.

1 Peter 2:19

Turn away from evil and do good.  Search for peace, and work to maintain it.

Psalm 34:14
